I think that is probably very true. There is no greater example than the fact that I’ve mostly seen support for Ron Paul after it was revealed that disgusting views pertaining to women, homosexuals, African Americans et. al, were published under his name in the early 90s. I also enjoy the fact that many of them will simply ignore his less-than-libertarian views on many social issues, like abortion - because staying out of people’s lives only counts when it comes to socialist programs like feeding starving people or helping poor kids go to college.
