Anonymous asked: Come the next Federal Election, do you believe Julia Gillard will be leader of the Labor Party and if not, whom do you both think is most likely or preferable?
I am not sure that the Labor Party has the guts to change leader again during this term given how badly it worked out for them the last time. But I do think that replacing Julia Gillard would be a good move for the Party - unfortunately, and rightly or wrongly, she seems to have little credibility with the electorate and I am not sure that she can regain that before the next poll.
I of course hope she does, as an Abbott Government would be infinitely worse; but I fear that it is not possible, and therefore I think a leadership change might actually be necessary for them to have a chance at the next election. I don’t know whether they should go back to Kevin - possibly - but I can think of a few stars on the frontbench who could potentially rise to the top before the end of the year. (No, Bill Shorten - not you.)
